A native of Alabama, Patty graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. As Children’s Director since 1984, Patty is responsible for equipping teachers and workers who minister to children in grades 1-6. Her areas include Sunday School, missions, Vacation Bible School, scripture memory, Kid’s Kamp, and special events throughout the year.

Patty is married to her high school sweetheart, Kenneth. They have three married children and eight grandchildren. Being a wife and mother has been her primary ministry in life. However, her love for children and her desire for them to come to know Jesus early in their lives prompted her to answer God’s call to ministry at Lakeview.
