Originally from Birmingham, Grady has been involved at Lakeview since his college years at Auburn. He received his Masters of Divinity degree in 2005 from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, through Lakeview’s pastoral internship program. He also received his Ph.D. from Southern Seminary in 2013 in the field of missions, evangelism, and church growth, with his research in the area of how one’s view of God’s providence impacts one’s prayer life.

Grady first came on staff at Lakeview as a pastoral intern in 2002. After completing that program in 2005, he became an assistant in the Internationals Ministry. He was named Director of Internationals Ministry in 2007 and then an Associate Pastor in 2009.

Grady is married to Julia, and they have two sons, Grady Jeremiah and Richard Josiah.
